- Mechanical, electrical, public-health and specialist systems are coordinated with the architecture and structure from design stage, not resolved late on site.
- Commissioning, witnessing and handover documentation are planned into the programme so systems are proven to perform before the client takes occupation.

- Works sequenced around occupation — logistics, noise, dust, access and out-of-hours activity planned with the client and building management.
- Phasing plans keep operational areas running while construction moves through the building in controlled stages.
